Cleaning is difficult!

Yesterday and today, Peaco had to help clean the apartment! It was a lot of work, and Peaco fell asleep after lunch. But somehow, everything managed to get all cleaned up! It's very nice to have everything all sparkly and dusted. All of the books are organized, and everything's in its proper place. Hurrah for cleaning!

Peacos are meant to be free.

The other day, Kit went and bought this large rotating metal bird cage to hold her earrings. Peaco thought it was rather strange and rather frightening. Upon further investigation of the new object, Peaco suddenly found himself inside of it!

Peaco was rather frightened.

Peaco wanted out!

Though, the exiting process was rather traumatic. The backings of the earrings scratched Peaco's back! He was very scared he would be injured. Luckily, everything was fine in the end.

It's been a while since the last update! Happy belated 4th of July.

Gou went and bought flower-bead-curtains for the outside of her door. Peaco thought it would be cool to scale them. So he did.

This is Peaco, Uo-san, and Si, all nice and stuck in the curtains. Gou was afraid that they'd tear them down!

back from Okinawa!

Peaco is back from the homestay in Okinawa! It was great fun, and Peaco wants to go back. Well, granted, Peaco spent most of the two weeks in a bag, giving Gou moral support. But still. It was epic fun.

Peaco is preparing for his trip, and is all nice and comfy in Gou's bag. The two of them are all ドキドキワクワク (excited!), and don't want to leave Bunny and Kit and Babo and everyone. But, this will be a good character building experience! オス！行くわよ！ (Oh! We're going!)

Days in Paradise are so sleepy and long! Peaco thinks that it's fortunate we get the tradewinds here, though. Just think of how hot it would be without the nice breeze! How disgusting.

There wasn't much to do today either. Gou went to the mall to pick up some Lupicia Paradise-exclusive tea for the host family, and then went to a friend's graduation party for lunch. As fun as it all ways, Peaco insisted on staying home! Silly Peaco. But instead of going here and there, he got to spend a nice, relaxing day sun bathing with Gou's Hunny Bunny and Kit's Babo.

Gou and Peaco won't be seeing Kit until they come back from their trip (June 27th, mark your calendars!). How unfortunate! Gou and Peaco will miss Kit lots and lots and lots.

All that's left to pack are the electronics!

It's nice to pass the time with comics and movies. ♥

Peaco didn't do much today. It was very hot, and there was little breeze! Good thing Peaco could stay indoors all day in front of the fan. Gou decided to finally put the to-pack pile inside of the suitcase. A few things needed to be unpacked and repacked and stuffed and squished, but somehow, everything managed to fit!

Peaco and Gou also wrapped omiyage (souvenirs) for their host family. Some of the items were strangely shaped and they kind of cheated with the apron, but all in all, nice wrapping! Now to hope they don't get stopped at the airport, since they aren't packing wrapping paper and ribbon...

Being all packed is so exciting!

EDIT: Look at what Peaco ate for dinner! It's a lovely heart-shaped musubi with eyes.

Today was a nice, do-nothing, lah-dee-dah sort of day. Since Gou spent the morning out doing stuff, Peaco was able to sleep in and go moss collecting with Uo-san! He enjoyed it very much. When Gou came home, it was time to begin packing for their upcoming trip to Okinawa. Peaco still isn't completely sure that he really wants to go live out in farm-country for two weeks, but the whale sharks call!

Peaco got to cut all the tags off of the new clothes and things.

Since most of their clothes were already set to the side, it was only a matter of minutes before everything was folded and stacked neatly in the black-fold-up-clothing-packer-things. There was one for the tops, one for the bottoms, and one for all the underthings!

Then it was time to compile everything else. Luckily, Gou and Peaco don't leave 'til Friday! Packing is awful stressful. They needed clothes and soap and towels and shoes and lots and lots of tissue and all sorts of things.

Peaco will probably pack more tomorrow. Who knew vacations could be so difficult?

bath time!

Today was very sunny and quiet, and Peaco felt like napping the hours away. Gou, however, had other plans! After downing a bowl of Pops cereal, Gou set out to scrub the bathroom. Peaco sat to the side and watched as Gou washed everything clean. How dirty it all was! After a glance at Babo, Gou put two and two together, and it was decided that today was bath day.

Peaco wished he hadn't been sitting around as Gou was cleaning, but at least he didn't have to go through the horrible bath by himself. Hunny Bunny joined him! The two were swished and dunked in a chilly bubble bath then spun dry. It turned out Peaco wasn't all that dirty.

As nice of a day it was, Peaco didn't enjoy his noontime one bit! Hanging out to dry made all the fluff run down to his head and he had a headache from all the spinning. Though he will admit that the sun was warm and made his tummy feel fuzzy.

Peaco has decided that he's not a big fan of baths.

Peaco didn't do very much today. Sundays are always very lazy and sleepy. The morning was nice and sunny, but around lunchtime the clouds came and drizzled on everything. Peaco pities Babo, who had to get a bath this morning. Has he dried out yet?

Peaco's fail moment of the day involved being sat on by a fat Apple AirPort-shaped duck. His name is Tubby, and he is very heavy. Peaco was unable to breathe.

Thanks to a helpful art student (Kit), Peaco also learned how to use Photoshop to edit his photos! He feels rather accomplished.

Then Gou had to leave for drum lessons. Peaco was so lonely, and was in need of something to do! Thus, Kit and Gou's older sister decided to feed Peaco things that Gou would never let him eat. Like meat.

Peaco thought that Mom's char-siu was really yummy. Then he and his homies, Uo-san and SI, went out to play. They had so much fun, and Kit and Gou's older sister even offered to take a lovely group photo of them. With Gou's camera. Before Gou came home from lessons.

Peaco is now ready for a nap! Good night.
